2019-20 Legislative Session

During the 2019-20 Legisaltive Session the JEDE Committee heard a range of issues related to economic recovery and revitalization.  Among other activities, the committee staffed a special task force on leveraging federal, state, and local resources to meet local community needs.

The JEDE Committee  hosted a briefing on international trade and the California economy.  The briefing focused on how tariffs impact local economies and featured a new report by the Port of Los Angeles which provides data on potential impacts of tariffs on California Assembly and Senate Districts.
