General Information about the February 23, 2021, Hearing

The Assembly Committee on Jobs, Economic Development, and the Economy (JEDE) will be conducting an informational hearing on the economic impact of COVID-19 on California small business. 

Among other topics, the hearing will provide an overview of the economic impact of COVID-19 on California small business and program innovations to support the economic recovery of small businesses from the COVID-19 Pandemic; consequently, hearing about small business needs in California. Attached is an agenda for your review.

The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at the California State Capitol, Room 4202, from 9:30 am. until 12:00 noon.

Who is JEDE?

JEDE is the policy committee within the California State Assembly responsible for reviewing policies and legislation related to small business development, international trade, and other economic development related issues.  The committee regularly publishes reports on these areas of interest.  Copies of these reports are available online at ajed.assembly.ca.gov.
